Painting Tool
Necessities
Homeowners, as well as
contractors, will find any of the tools on this page to be
quality made and an overall asset to the painting
process.
Handy Pail
Pro - For small jobs and touch
up. This bucket has a magnet built in that holds your
brush so that the correct amount of bristles
stay in the paint when not in use. It also has a built-in grid
that is designed to accept a weenie roller. The company
also sells liners and lids that also work well. You can find
out where to purchase this product at

3 foot or
6 foot Spray Pole Guns - If you have
a considerable amount of spraying to do or you are spraying
eaves or ceilings, you will not believe how much easier
the job is with this tool. The tool simply speeds up
the job considerably. Graco, Wagner and Titan make these type
of poles. Make sure that the tip is able to swivel, this makes
all the difference. After using a spray pole gun, you
will not want to spray without one. You will be clumsy
with it at first, but in time, you will be a much more
efficient painter.

Shur-Line
makes a brush and roller spinner that is as
much a necessity as the paint brush is. In other
words, I would not own a paint brush without owning one of
these spinners for cleaning it, it's that simple. You can pick
this item up at most paint and hardware stores.
Shur Line
also makes a Paint Pourer that fits a 1 gallon bucket.
This little item works great, I use mine regularly at home when
I only need a small amount out paint from
a gallon. It keeps the top of a one gallon can like
new and is way easier to clean than dealing with the paint in
the crease of the
can.

Paint Brush
Comb - Is as much a necessity as the brush
and the spinner. It is what must be used every time the brush
is cleaned prior to putting it back in it's cardboard
home.
Wire
Brush - In order to get the brush clean,
you are going to need one of these very inexpensive items that
you can get about anywhere or more than likely already own
one.
Bucket
Grids - a one gallon, a two gallon and a
five gallon grid would be necessary to have. Paint pans are a
disaster waiting to happen. Grids are inexpensive and work
great and are available at most paint and hardware
stores.
Cardboard spray
shields - The only type of shield
to use when spraying. A plastic clip for
attaching the cardboard shields to an extention pole is also
available. http://www.hydetools.com/
3M
- Hand masker. A must for any painter or
homeowner.

Extention ladder leg leveler -
I would not own an extention ladder without installing a leg
leveler. http://www.wernerladder.com/newprods/equalizer.php
